Hidden Valley Civic Club

What the “Civic Club” is all about

The “Civic Club” is a committee that was created by the founders of Hidden Valley Lake. In the bylaws of HVL it is written that all property owners are automatically members of the Civic Committee and that the committee must always exist. Our main purpose is to make HVL a more enjoyable place to live by planning activities for the community. All money raised is used for the betterment of Hidden Valley.

The Spring Fling, Halloween Walk, Haunted Woods, Keep American Beautiful, Family Fall Fest & Chili-cook off, Luau, Card nights, Pontoon Parties, HVL Scholarship Fund, and the Community Garage Sale are some of the activities the Civic Club sponsors.

If you want to help out a little or help out a lot, we’ve always got things to do! This is a great way to get involved and meet new people. Please feel free to come to a meeting or contact Robin Harrison at 812 637 9754 or ty2256@fuse.net

Civic Committee Meetings Are the 4th Wednesday every month at the Community Center @ 7:30 p.m.

Next Civic Club Meeting
At this point, the club has disbanded and no longer meets on a regular basis.  We are asking that anyone (group or individual) interested in taking over the Civic Club duties to contact the POA.  We are not looking for people to help out on one event (that never is a problem); we NEED someone to take over the club.  If you want events like the Luau to return…we need help!
One last note, the Civic Club and the Children’s Activities Club are 2 different entities run by completely different people.  Please do not confuse the two.  The Children’s Activities Club is currently NOT in jeopardy of disbanding.  I hope this clears up come confusion.
