HVL Front Entrance Design Concepts

Please take the time to review the designs below:

A year ago, the Parks & Recreation Committee presented a report to the HVL residents about a Project Plan to update, upgrade and redesign the State Line Road front entrance area. This PowerPoint presentation is still available for viewing on the HVL Web site at: www.hiddenvalley-lake.com/ASP/Parks.asp A survey was also mailed to the entire community and the results tallied and reported.

In accordance with the Project Plan and the results of the survey, the P&R Committee has hired professional landscape designer Rob Williams of Williams International to produce three preliminary design concepts for the front entrance. Mr. Williams has studied the HVL community and its current structures to come up with a coordinated, identifiable and up-to-date look for the front entrance.

The drawings are preliminary design concepts, typically provided in the first stage of the design process. They depict the area of the front entrance between State Line Road and the landscaped area currently containing lawn and trees. Images of these design concepts are pictured on the above-mentioned webpage for you to review, and are displayed in the POA Community Building. For your convenience, we have labeled them A – Twin Towers, B - Chalet, and C – Bridge.

Although the P&R Committee is months away from presenting a final design and cost estimates, we are hopeful that you will take the time to critique these preliminary design concepts and provide us with some feedback to continue the design process. We are interested not only in which concept you prefer but also which individual features from all three concepts you would like to see included in a new front entrance design. We encourage you to submit your feedback by filling out the questionnaire provided and dropping it off at the POA office, or by emailing it to: MoeManion@comcast.net

Thank you for your opinions!
