Exercise For a Healthier Life
Exercise does not only help you loose and maintain required body weight, but also is a great stress reliever. It is well known that through exercise one releases endorphins, which improve the overall well being of the body and mind.
Keep consistent with your exercise and you will have only benefit from this practice. Exercise can be practiced at any age !
The key to fitness is the old adage, “something is better than nothing” walk for as long as you can and build up to twenty or thirty minutes. Doing this for two weeks will not only improve your cardiovascular health, but your legs and lower body will appear and feel stronger and more defined.

Fitness Tip
Listening to music boosts endurance! Research says when people listened to music the exercised 15 percent longer than when the workout in silence.
Do you know what it takes to lose 1 pound?
To lose 1 pound of fat you need to burn 3,500 calories more calories than you consume. So if your goal is to lose 1 pound per week, that means that over the course of the week you need to burn 3,500 more calories than you consume. You could do this by adding in a workout to your day that burns 500 calories. A better approach may be splitting the 500 calories between exercise and food. For example, eat 250 calories less of food and burn 250 calories doing an exercise each day. Always be smart and sensible when it comes to weight loss. Consult your physician or health care provider on what diet and exercise make the most sense for you.
